Certification Process
myclubguru™ is devoted to the Certified Pre-Owned golfer's comfort, enjoyment and security by offering coverage that truly goes above and beyond, just like any golf equipment purchase should be.

myclubguru certification & inspection

Certified myclubguru™ Pre-Owned golf equipment is its own reward, a sensation made even more pleasurable considering the demanding standards and extensive protection benefits that come with each purchase you make. We only certify golf equipment that passes our meticulous inspection and certification.

In order to meet the rigorous standards of our certification program, our specially-trained myclubguru golf equipment technicians put each club through an exhaustive series of examinations, assuring reliability, quality and customer confidence. The smallest crack in a hosel and the slightest separated ferrule are enough to disqualify a club from the CPO program:

  • myclubguru performs a thorough inspection and diagnosis of the shaft to determine unlabeled
  • flex and ensure against excessive shaft wear, bend and/or rust
  • the exterior of the club head, including grooves, is checked for dings, dents and scratches
  • the grooves and sole are part of the exterior inspection
  • the hosel and ferrule is checked for alignment and damage
  • the grip tackiness is assessed to determine life and replacement status
  • a ball test may be performed to check for interior and structural issues, rattles and vibrations

Our 30-day No-hassle Satisfaction Guaranty

If you decide it’s is not for you, return the club(s) to us for their current trade-in value as determined by the PGA Value Guide. We will not accept returns postmarked 31 days after the date of receipt.
